As of January 1st this year, RM Plants officially became one of the 'flourishing partners' of Van der Plas / Floral Trade Group (FTG). This is an exclusive collaboration in which the grower commits to conditions regarding assortment, quality, delivery reliability, and logistical flexibility while the trader places their trade "at number 1."
RM Plants has more than 500 indoor and outdoor plants available year-round. The range includes tropical plants from Central America (Guatemala, Honduras, and Costa Rica) and Asia (China and Thailand). In addition, florists can also turn to RM Plants for Mediterranean plants from Italy, Spain, and Portugal, among others.
"We want to be flexible towards the florists by not demanding minimum quantities, for instance," says RM Plants owner Rémi van Adrichem. The grower is thereby in line with Van der Plas, which has strongly focused on the floristry industry.
That 'flourishing partner' is an actual promotion for RM, and it is not in question. The products are given a preferred position, and the name of the grower is actively promoted to customers. A promotional film and a special page are also created to inform FTG / Van der Plas customers about the supplier. "We started this collaboration effectively a few weeks ago, and so far, the turnover is not lying."
