Zoltan Kovacs has recently been appointed as a Program Representative at ThinkPlants®. He will have a crucial role in supporting sales, be a leading member of the ThinkPlants trials team, and represent the company at industry events and trials.
"I am excited to announce that Zoltan has joined our team," says Joey Wiseman, Director at ThinkPlants. "ThinkPlants has been steadily growing in the last five years. We have been wanting to add a new level of perennial expertise and grower support to what ThinkPlants has to offer the North American grower network, and I think we have done just that by hiring Zoltan."
Zoltan has received education in the industry from Hungary as well as the University of Minnesota. He brings over 25 years of experience in the field to the ThinkPlants team. Zoltan has previously worked at Mahoney's Garden Center in MA, Sunny Border Nurseries, and Michael's Greenhouses in CT. He was most recently the Perennial Product Manager for Dummen Orange in North America, where he initiated the perennial program and introduced countless varieties. Zoltan's expertise has been recognized with numerous trade industry awards from the Boston Flower Show. He was also named the Grower of the Year by Grower Talks Magazine in 2008.
"I am excited to take on the challenge of contributing to the growth of ThinkPlants," says Zoltan. "I have been following the development of this program, and I am thrilled to be a part of it. My expertise and passion lie in perennials, and I am eager to bring that energy to this new team."
