This new year, the collaboration of Breeding Accel is taking on an extra dimension. The breeders KP Holland, Interplant Roses, Schoneveld Breeding, Sion Young Plants, and Royal Van Zanten are jointly presenting their range at the IPM Essen, at booth no. 2D13, under the name Breeding Accel.
Peter van de Pol, spokesperson for Breeding Accel: "By standing together at a booth, we also bundle our commercial forces and thereby create an attractive one-stop-shop for our chain partners where they can see and judge the latest innovations in our genetics."
A united force of breeding companies
Breeding Accel represents a collaboration between six breeders. In addition to the five mentioned ornamental horticulture companies, Fresh Forward, which breeds apples and strawberries, is also part of the collaboration. By bundling knowledge and research capacities, significant progress is made. "Thanks to our collaboration, we have been able to accelerate our breeding cycle over the past years. This results in strong genetics and an earlier introduction of our products. Moreover, we also exchange a lot of knowledge in the fields of human resource management, tissue culture, propagation, and sales. Through this collaboration, we make progress in multiple business processes, which ultimately benefits our customers by supplying stronger and vital starting material," says Peter.
By banding together during the IPM, Breeding Accel is taking a new step in collaboration. The IPM takes place from January 23 to 26 at the Messe, Essen.
