Hoek Flowers strengthens presence in Northern Germany

Hoek Flowers, a division of Hoek Group, is expanding its business operations in Northern Germany through the acquisition of three companies: Meyer Blumen, Kees de Lange, and Mindener. In addition, a partnership has been established with the German company Interfleur.

Ruben Hoek (CEO) and Gerben van Duijvenbode (CCO) explain: "Hoek Flowers has been active in Germany for three years now, delivering fresh flowers, plants, and florist accessories directly to the florist. With these acquisitions, we are expanding our reach further in the north. We are proud of the trust that the aforementioned companies have placed in us. Thanks to these acquisitions and the partnership, we are not only strengthening our current position, but it also offers opportunities for further growth in the future."

The focus of Hoek Flowers in 2024 also lies in continuing to invest in new and sustainable methods to improve the service towards the florist. "For example, our 'Origin Direct' concept, where the florist can directly purchase a range of flowers from Colombia, Kenya, and/or South Africa, is a great addition for the customer in Northern Germany. A better price and year-round quality product directly from the source."
