2024 Viva Fresh showcases the best of Houston

The 2024 Viva Fresh Expo is less than a month away and the team at the Texas International Produce Association (TIPA) is particularly thrilled about three opportunities for attendees to experience the best of Houston while networking with industry peers. The show promises a lineup of special events tailored to provide exciting opportunities for education and team building.

The Let's Brew Tour, sponsored by SunFed and Premier Produce, offers an exploration of two leading breweries contributing to Houston's burgeoning craft beer scene. Taking place on Thursday, April 11, from noon to 4 p.m., the tour will explore Saint Arnold Brewing Company and Karbach Brewing. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in world-class brews while immersing themselves in Space City's vibrant atmosphere. Tickets for this event are $200 per registration.

One of the standout events at this year's expo is the Astros Reception at Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros. Hosted by Viva Fresh organizers TIPA and FullTilt Marketing, this networking reception offers attendees a chance to explore the park after hours. It is located just minutes away from the Marriott Marquis, where the Viva Fresh Expo is held. Taking place on Thursday, April 11, from 7 to 9 p.m., this ticketed event is open to registered attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for this event is $200 and includes food and behind-the-scenes experiences for both baseball and produce enthusiasts.

Dante Galeazzi, CEO and president of TIPA.

"We aim to provide a memorable and enriching experience where participants can broaden their industry horizons while creating lasting impressions of our host city," said Dante Galeazzi, CEO and president of TIPA.

On Friday, the Viva Fresh Expo invites attendees to the In Bloom Women in Produce Reception from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. This unique gathering blends networking with team spirit, all while enjoying produce-inspired cocktails. Tickets for the In Bloom Reception are $100 per registration.

"Through In Bloom, we are dedicated to curating experiences as diverse and vibrant as the incredible women within our industry. This event embodies the spirit of camaraderie and empowerment that drives our vision. We are thrilled to provide a platform where women can connect, collaborate, and flourish together, fostering a community of growth and excellence within the produce industry," said Michelle Cortez, In Bloom chairwoman. "We'd like to thank our title sponsor, Pure Flavor, and all our other sponsors, without whom this event would not be possible."

Registration for these events is open and filling fast. Attendees can register for any of these events either during Viva Fresh Expo registration or by contacting info@texipa.org.
