Iberflora, the international plants and flowers, gardening, technology and garden DIY fair has started selling space at this year's show and bookings are already 26% up on this time last year, and with several months still to go before the fair takes place, 80% of the available exhibition space has already been taken.
Spain's foremost trade fair for the sector, also one of the leading European fairs for the industry, takes place from 1st to 3rd October 2024 in halls 6, 7 and 8 at Feria Valencia, at the same time as four other international events: Eurobrico, Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar and Espacio Cocina – SICI. The five events taking place at the same time and Iberflora's extensive offering of products and solutions for the green sector geared to the contract, hospitality and home markets, will boost the synergies between all the industries involved.
Rise in number of international exhibitors
The figures for space bookings also reflect an increase in international companies taking part, with the number 75% higher for this next edition of the fair compared with the number booked in at this time last year. The figure ratifies the event's strategy for boosting its international profile, which is set to translate into the presence of exhibitors from France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Turkey and the United Kingdom, amongst others.
For Máximo Solaz, Iberflora's director, the figures "confirm that every edition of Iberflora generates huge expectation because it is Spain's major showcase for the industry, and the forum for people to find out about market trends". According to Solaz, "also, this year, the other major international fairs running at the same time as Iberflora add significant value, because for that period of time Valencia will be the global centre of the entire flower, gardening, contract and interiors businesses".
The fair's director points out that "Iberflora is changing its location within Feria Valencia, returning to the three halls at street level that will be familiar to the most long-standing exhibitors, and we know from experience that they are a great choice in terms of catering to exhibitors' needs and connecting with the other events".
