Nala May Greenhouse opened several weeks ago at 21 Electric Ave., Clearfield. The business is located at the site of the former Tammy's Greenhouse off the Clearfield Curwensville Highway near Clearfield.
Owner O-jay Guenot said this spring's warmer-than-normal temperatures prompted a frantic pace among shoppers, as they were anxious to get their gardens and flower beds planted. He said the store has been quite busy in its opening weeks.
Guenot said the Clearfield location has a number of greenhouses filled with a variety of plants including annual flowers, vegetable starts, perennials, and houseplants.
He also has some trees and shrubs and is hoping to expand those lines next year.
