EPSO Horticulture Working Group Reactivation with online meeting on May 31

After a period of little activity, the EPSO working group for Horticulture will be rebooted.

The field of horticulture is an increasingly strategic field for Europe as it can be instrumental in e.g. mitigating the effects of climate change on food security. The working group can play an important role in these topics.

In June, several meetings are being organized for which the WG should provide input, such as the EPSO General Assembly in Oeiras / PT 10-12.6.2024, a stakeholder meeting for Cluster 6 in Brussels and a Plant ETP workshop towards its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda in Brussels. To discuss the steps to be taken, an online Working Group (WG) meeting for members has been scheduled for 31.5.2024 10-12 am CET. Interested EPSO experts not in this WG can contact Monique to join and receive the link.

The meeting is expected to happen on 31st May.

  • Welcome and introductions
  • Actions taken (2023-2024)
  • Objectives and Topics from the EPSO General Assembly 2023
  • Topics that should be included in the SRIA 2025 (and justification)
  • Organization of the working group
  • Activities of the working group
    • preparation of a new draft white paper
    • next meetings schedule
    • networking
  • • Any other topics / question round and closure
