Veiling Rhein-Maas expands by 10,000 m2 at Herongen site

Auction Rhein-Maas lays the groundwork for further growth with the acquisition of the currently unused Hall N on the company's premises in Straelen-Herongen. "Following the commissioning of the new LMC in building T, acquiring Hall N marks the next significant step within our strategic 'Location 2025' project. With this project, we aim to position our marketplace attractively for the future," emphasize Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra, Managing Directors of Auction Rhein-Maas.

Hall N will provide Auction Rhein-Maas with approximately 10,000 square meters of additional hall space, which - unlike new construction - can be utilized by the auction and its customers in the short term. After the summer, the import department and the Service Center, among others, will start operating in Hall N. Prior to this, the newly acquired space will be renovated to meet the requirements of the respective departments.

"It is already clear that the addition of Hall N will trigger a welcome chain reaction within our complex," say Günther Esser and Cees Hoekstra. "The relocation will free up space in other halls, which can then be used for new purposes. This increases our usage options, such as additional space for the further growth of Auction Rhein-Maas, our customers, and our suppliers. And that is precisely the goal of 'Location 2025'!"
