On Wednesday, May 22, the official opening of the new Deliflor Japan branch took place. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Dutch embassy, local government agencies, installers, auction houses, the Beekenkamp Group, as well as flower growers and traders.
The new, larger test facility incorporates both Japanese and Dutch innovative ideas and techniques and serves as a model for local chrysanthemum growers. Additionally, this expansion provides Deliflor Chrysanten with the opportunity to further strengthen its strong position in the Asian market.
During the opening ceremony, various speakers emphasized the importance of the horticultural sector, the necessity of innovation in Japanese floriculture, and the success of international collaboration and knowledge exchange.
After the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, numerous guests were given a tour of the greenhouse. The admiration for the new varieties, the many questions posed, and the valuable discussions that followed made the event a great success for Deliflor.
