Suntory Flowers Europe appoints new leadership

Following the establishment of its European division earlier this year, Suntory Flowers Europe has appointed its new executive leadership team. As of April 2025, Ties Klapwijk has taken on the role of President-Managing Director, while Munenori Inagaki has been appointed Vice President of the European division. This new leadership structure marks an important step in strengthening Suntory Flowers' long-term commitment to its partners, customers, and the future of floriculture in Europe.

These appointments reinforce the company's mission to deliver value through innovation, quality, and close collaboration with partners across the industry. The new leadership team is dedicated to fostering continuous improvement, accelerating product development, and enhancing customer experiences throughout the region.

Commenting on his appointment, Ties Klapwijk shared: "It is an honour to lead a company that has played such a defining role in shaping the ornamental horticulture landscape. I deeply admire the way Suntory Flowers has introduced entirely new product categories over the years, bringing new energy and inspiration to the market. I look forward to working alongside our talented team and partners to continue creating meaningful value together."

Munenori Inagaki, who has worked in the industry for over 30 years and has been with Suntory Flowers Ltd. for the past 13, brings extensive experience and strategic insight to his new role as Vice President. His continued involvement ensures alignment with the company's global vision and long-term collaboration between the Japanese and European divisions.

Yasunori Yomo, President of Suntory Flowers Ltd., will continue to lead the global business from Japan. His support and vision remain instrumental in Suntory Flowers' international growth, including the ongoing expansion across Europe.

The company also takes this opportunity to recognize Jeroen Egtberts for his long-standing leadership and vision. Over the past 40 years, he has been instrumental in building the bridge between the European and Japanese floriculture markets, laying the foundation for what Suntory Flowers Europe has become today.
