NL: Boosting pruning efficiency in tree nurseries

Labor efficiency, quality, and ease of use—that's what Dutch Tree Machinery (DTM) stands for. From their base in Best, DTM develops innovative solutions that perfectly match the day-to-day needs of tree nurseries. The result? Smart machines that make pruning faster, lighter, and more consistent.

DTM's pruning machines, including the popular models, are developed based on real-world nursery experience. They feature hydraulic height adjustment, dual-sided cutting, and a robust, stable frame. The maximum pruning height varies per customer: the most common models reach up to 2 meters, but machines with a reach of up to 3.5 meters are also available.

Field-tested: stable, precise, and comfortable
Sander Hendrikx of Hendrikx Groenvormen has been using a DTM pruning machine for over a year: "The DTM machine is easy to operate, delivers a clean pruning result, and remains surprisingly stable—even at height." At Sander's request, his machine was fitted with a comfortable seat, allowing him to prune while seated—a small adjustment with a big impact on comfort during long workdays.

Ergonomics and customization at the core
The machines are designed for single-person operation, with adjustable controls and easy blade changes. This not only saves labor but also significantly improves working conditions.

Rob Janssen, co-owner and engineer at DTM said: "Our strength lies in thinking along with the grower. We don't just develop innovative machines — we adapt them to the customer's specific needs."
