On Saturday, May 3rd, Rachel Martha Kyll passed away at the age of 72 in Trier, Germany. For decades, Martha was an inexhaustible source of knowledge regarding flowers and plants for the German, Austrian and Swiss retail sector. As the daughter of a supermarket family, she advised growers, wholesalers, florists, supermarkets, the Flower Council of Holland and marketing specialists in the Netherlands, and since the 1980s she has helped market ornamental horticulture products on the German-speaking market. For example, by providing optimal store presentations, assortment composition and staff training at well-known retailers such as Feneberg, Edeka, Rewe, Eurospar, Tengelmann, Migros, Coop and Dehner. Martha's funeral took place on Monday May 12th.

Green marketer Paul Ras, who collaborated closely with Martha, shared, "Her remarkable expertise was always paired with enthusiasm, energy, and decisiveness. We began working together in 1995 at the Flower Council of Holland, and our professional relationship blossomed into a close friendship. This sentiment is shared by many of our colleagues. Martha was genuinely interested in others and actively engaged in social matters. Her loss is deeply felt, but we are left with wonderful memories."
