Terra Nova Nurseries offers new color in Heuchera

Terra Nova Nurseries has announced a new color in heuchera with the debut of Heuchera 'Iridescent'. This new variety features soft-pink flowers that complement the colorful and shimmering foliage.

Heuchera 'Iridescent' has pearly foliage that changes from rose-pink to silver-lavender as the season progresses. Its leaves are held in a tight mound and shine in the garden as well as containers; 'Iridescent' also performs well as a blender and a standout in mass plantings, edges and borders.

'Iridescent' should be moderately dry between waterings during finishing time in greenhouses and kept in moderately well-drained, organic-type soil once planted in the garden. Terra Nova's 'Iridescent' thrives in full sun to partial shade and grows most actively in spring, reaching a height of 10", a width of 16" and a flower height of 14".

Finishing growers can expect the finish time from a liner to a 4-inch pot to be six to eight weeks; finish time from a liner to a 1-gallon pot is 10-12 weeks. USDA Hardiness Zones for this new, vigorous addition to Terra Nova's lineup of heucheras are 4-9.
