UK: Meeting the traders for the Chiswick Flower Market

As Chiswick Flower Market heads towards its fifth birthday this September, Ollie Saunders, one of the founder directors, tells us about some of the characters in the market. Chiswick Flower Market has recently passed the milestone of running 50 markets. Doesn't time fly?

The market is possible thanks to the large team of local volunteers, but also due to the traders who bring some of the best flowers and plants we can find.

Danny and Kerry are a brother and sister duo who set up Finest Plants a few years ago. They grow nearly all their own plants near Hemel Hempstead and have attended every market since we opened. It's fair to say they have developed a loyal following of customers and are expanding their nursery having committed to building new polytunnels to help keep Chiswick supplied with … well Finest Plants!
