According to new data from online plant retailer Patch Plants, plants are fast becoming one of the UK's most popular gifts for dads, with the company seeing a 21% growth in Father's Day gifts in 2024 compared to 2023.
Searches for "plants for Father's Day" have reached a three-year high, with 4,300 searches in June 2024, a 23% increase on June 2023, and the trend looks like it's only set to grow in 2025.
Patch Plants has disclosed that the plants with the highest sales as Father's Day gifts last year included olive trees, lemon trees, peace lilies, Chinese money plants, and snake plants.
