The FlowerTrials 2025 have kicked off, and although the first day was a bit quieter — presumably due to the rainy weather — the atmosphere among participants and visitors is positive. The sector reflects on a stable spring season, with steady sales thanks to early and persistent good weather. This contrasts with last year, when sales peaked around Mother's Day and Ascension Day.

Exports to southern countries are somewhat slower this year due to continued rain and cold in those regions. Nevertheless, drought-tolerant plants continue to attract interest. These are once again strongly featured this year. Over the coming days, FlowerTrials hopes to inspire visitors with strong, innovative, and future-proof varieties. From Australia to America and even Armenia: once again, the FlowerTrials are drawing an international audience.
