Giant Labubu made of roses takes attention in Dubai

Labubu fans, this one's for you. A 1.7-metre-tall version of the figure recently made a surprise appearance at Mad Kicks' pop-up in Dubai Festival City Mall and it was made entirely out of fresh, deep purple roses.

The floral showstopper was created by Flowers.ae. Known for their viral flower sculptures (think oversized teddy bears and butterflies), they brought Labubu to life using over 2,500 roses worth Dhs35,000. Yes, really.

The idea came from Flowers.ae's Chief Creative Officer, who was inspired by the rising Labubu hype in Dubai's trend space.

Their expert florists and in-house design team worked closely to sculpt the figure, while their Brand Innovation Manager made sure every fresh bloom was delivered and assembled to perfection inside the busy retail space.
