Cut flower expert meets pot plant specialist
Operating under the brand All I am, both parties integrate their knowledge and expertise. Instead of viewing each other as competitors, they consider themselves "friends in the trade" and collaborate. Tom Brand of Streng Growers remarks, "The potted Allium joins the family of cut flowers like a brother."
It's worth noting that both parties are dedicated to sustainable cultivation practices, including the use of peat-free substrates and biological crop protection.
A star in every garden
The Allium, commonly known as the ornamental onion, is a flowering plant from the leek family. While the large-flowered Allium Globemaster is the most famous variety, there are many other types. This vibrant purple plant, often referred to as a "purple queen," is particularly attractive to bees.
