Royal FloraHolland CEO recovering from brain haemorrhage

Royal FloraHolland shares that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pieter Bootsma will be temporarily unavailable for work in the coming period. He is recovering from a brain haemorrhage. He is responsive and his condition is improving noticeably every day. Pieter is determined to make a full recovery.

He needs rest for the coming period. "We wish Pieter, his wife Karin and their children strength and vigour in addition to a prosperous recovery," shares Royal FloraHolland. "His portfolio will be managed by our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) David van Mechelen in the coming period. Together with the Management Team of Royal FloraHolland, he will determine how the portfolio can be organised. Of course, he will do this in close cooperation with the Supervisory Board."
