PLS Nordic, Vestfold Blomst and Scan-Plant join forces in Denmark and Norway

Effective August 1, 2025, Vestfold Blomst A/S (Larvik, NO) and PLS Nordic A/S (Odense, DK) – both part of the Noviflora family –joined forces with PS! Scan-Plant A/S (Odense, DK). This makes Noviflora a shareholder of Scan-Plant, along with its two current owners Kim Jensen and Brian Bjerregaard. The locations in Denmark, which are located next to each other, will be integrated and will continue under the name Scan-Plant A/S. In Norway, the structure will remain the same, and Vestfold Blomst will continue under the name Vestfold Blomst.

Noviflora is, together with PLS Nordic and Vestfold Blomst, a strong player in the export and trade of flowers and plants in Scandinavia. Scan-Plant is a strong player in Norway. This consolidation is a strategic step in the Scandinavian market, aimed at ensuring continuity and enhancing customer service. By combining their strengths and resources, they aim to deliver even better service and operational efficiency. They foresee several benefits for their customers:

  • Larger Assortment: A comprehensive range of Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, German, and Mediterranean products on one platform.
  • Optimized logistics: Improved utilization of resources and coordination of local production and imports, reducing both carbon footprint and freight costs.
  • Improved customer service: Superior service through economies of scale, cost savings on customs and clearance, and deeper market insights.

"We are excited about this cooperation as it allows us to better serve our customers by expanding our product offerings and optimizing our logistics," said Kim Jensen (managing director Scan-Plant). "Our presence in the Scandinavian markets will enable us to provide superior service, meet customs and import requirements more efficiently, and leverage local market knowledge."

"By cooperating with Scan-Plant, we are taking the next step in our multi-local strategy and strengthening our position in Scandinavia, which will allow us to serve our customers even better. That is what we are doing it all for!" said Hendrico de Brabander (CEO Noviflora).
