As of October 1st, Van Zanten Breeding will have a new management structure. Joost Kos will become the Managing Director. Maarten Goos and Martijn Swinkels will step down from daily management.

This is a conscious decision taken by the board of directors. "Much has been invested and changed in recent years. We are ready to build on strong middle management, valuable genetics, and a clear vision and strategy. We believe this is the right time to move to a smaller board together with focused operational management."
Both Maarten and Martijn will remain associated with Van Zanten Breeding as shareholders. Maarten will also continue in his role as managing director of Koninklijke Van Zanten B.V.
This change reflects the current stage of the company. "We have worked diligently in recent years to strengthen our organization and sharpen our focus. Our promise remains the same: developing strong varieties, building market success together, and continuing to invest in plant quality and innovation."
Little will change for customers and partners. "There will be no changes to the functions and responsibilities within our team. We will continue to focus on successful and sustainable collaborations with the same dedication and passion."
