Last week, there was a predominance of price increases for sunflower on the domestic market in Ukraine due to a similar trend in the export direction of sunflower oil, as reported by agronews.ua.
Purchase prices for oil varied within the range of 25,500-26,300 UAH/ton EXW-plant.
Some processors showed high demand for raw materials against the backdrop of active oil exports. At the same time, most plants demonstrated moderate demand, as some of them already had sufficient stocks for the end of the season, while others planned to switch to rapeseed, the attractiveness of processing which may increase in case of the introduction of an export duty.
