Floriexpo contributes to AFIA

Floriexpo has announced a significant contribution to the Association of Floral Importers of America (AFIA).

This give-back directly reflects the exceptional participation, robust engagement, and invaluable contributions of AFIA members at the recently concluded Floriexpo 2025 event, which saw record attendance and a nearly sold-out show floor.

"The unwavering support and active involvement of the Association of Floral Importers of America members were truly instrumental in making Floriexpo 2025 an outstanding success," stated Bob Callahan, President and CEO of Floriexpo. "AFIA members brought unparalleled energy to our show floor, engaged deeply in our educational sessions, and facilitated countless vital connections that enriched the experience for all attendees. This give back is our profound acknowledgment and celebration of the pivotal role AFIA members play within our show and, indeed, the entire floral import industry. Their dedication not only elevates our event but fundamentally strengthens the global floral supply chain."

AFIA's presence at Floriexpo 2025 was particularly impactful, with their Executive Vice President Christine Boldt actively participating in key discussions, including the "Protecting Profits: Navigating the Tariff Terrain in the Floral Sector" breakfast session, which provided critical insights for the import community. This engagement underscored the show's commitment to addressing the most pressing issues facing the industry.

"We are incredibly grateful for Floriexpo's generous give back," Christine Boldt, Executive Vice President at the Association of Floral Importers of America. "This contribution will directly support AFIA's ongoing initiatives dedicated to simplifying flower imports, advocating for our members' interests in Washington, and providing essential industry insights and networking opportunities. Floriexpo continues to be an indispensable platform for our members to connect with high-volume buyers and drive their businesses forward, and this give back further solidifies our vital partnership."
