The Farwest Show Seminars will give current and future green industry professionals a chance to level up their knowledge, power up their business and advance their career.
"When it comes to green industry growth, knowledge is the surest route to success," said Jamie Moore, events and education coordinator for the Oregon Association of Nurseries, which produces the show. "Businesses and employees who want to grow, professionally and otherwise, will always pursue knowledge as a means of getting ahead. At the Farwest Show, making actionable knowledge available for any green industry pro, at a reasonable cost, is a key part of our mission."

"The nursery industry is diverse, and so are our seminars," Moore said. "There's something for everyone in the industry. We have made it easy to hear from a wide variety of experts in a short time, and then put that new, difference-making knowledge to work right away."
Early Bird rates on expo and seminar passes are available until July 31 at the link here. These are good for up to $40 in savings per person.
For students attending, there will be special perks, including a free 3-Day Trade Show Pass, and a discounted 3-Day Education Pass to the seminars.

Augmenting the seminars, bonus Solution Center mini-sessions will be offered right on the show expo floor during open hours (10 a.m.–5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Friday). These will cover research updates, photography, artificial intelligence, pest management and more. Between the seminars and Solution Center, there are more than 50 sessions in all.
The Farwest Show will take place Wednesday–Friday, August 20–22, 2025, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. Oregon is a nursery industry epicenter, with $1.2 billion worth of plant sales in 2022, the most recent year tallied. Oregon's nursery offerings are incredibly diverse, including trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, vegetable starts, herbs, climbers, tropicals, houseplants and much more.
