For the past thirteen years, Jan and Simone Al have been running a caravan storage business in Zuidoostbeemster, the Netherlands, inside a former flower greenhouse. "We used to grow hydrangeas here," Jan explains while walking past the dozens of parked vehicles in an interview with NH Nieuws (link in Dutch). "It was enjoyable work, but also heavy and stressful. As we got older, we wanted something easier. Bit by bit, the plants disappeared, and only caravans remained."
