New Bloom Solutions founder receives Rising Star Award

The Society of American Florists (SAF) has recognized Sahid Nahim, founder of New Bloom Solutions and New Bloom Media, with the Rising Star Award at its annual convention.

The Rising Star Award is given to a young floral industry professional in recognition of their
professional achievements and commitment to the industry. This award celebrates forward-thinking young professionals who demonstrate creativity, innovation, tenacity, and leadership in their work, as well as the potential to make a positive impact on the floral industry. The recipient of this award represents the promising future of the industry.

Sahid Nahim's journey
Sahid Nahim began his career in grassroots marketing before moving into the luxury fashion industry, where he learned the value of brand development and high-level consumer engagement. He later transitioned into the floral industry with Esmeralda Farms, which he credits for shaping his deep understanding of wholesale markets and the floral supply chain across all sectors.

From there, Sahid joined Royal Flowers, where he experienced firsthand the importance of building brands within the floral industry and how branding and connectivity drive long-term success. During this time, he also pursued marketing studies at his local college, where he acquired knowledge in social media marketing, business and marketing strategies, e-commerce development, messaging, email marketing, and more.

Combining these experiences, he launched New Bloom Solutions, which later evolved into New Bloom Media.

With New Bloom Solutions and New Bloom Media, Sahid's vision is to connect the floral industry across all sectors—including growers, wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, breeders, innovations, start-ups, associations, and beyond. His mission is to help companies across the Americas stay connected, relevant, and engaged through a multi-channel approach. This approach supports media exposure across platforms and conventions, collaborative industry engagement across North, Central, and South America, highlighting innovations that bring fresh opportunities to the market, and strengthening community ties across the floral supply chain.

Through his leadership, New Bloom has become both a trusted advisory agency and a B2B media channel for the floral industry, ensuring that companies and professionals remain visible, connected, and positioned for growth year-round.
