On August 12, the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan expanded the list of goods exempt from VAT on import. The new exemption covers tulip bulbs, tubers, corms, and rhizomes in vegetative dormancy (HS code 0601103000).
The measure is designed to support domestic producers and enhance business conditions. The decision was added to Annex No. 10 of Resolution No. 131 (March 11, 2022) and came into effect on August 25, 2025.
