Royal FloraHolland has announced the finalists for the Glass Tulip Award — an award for the best market introduction in the floriculture sector. Every year, the company presents this award in five categories: cut flowers, concepts, flowering houseplants, green house plants and garden plants.
In addition to the professional jury prize, there is also a public prize. Over the coming weeks, everyone can vote for their favourite products, one vote per category.

In the Concepts category, highlights include Esperit Elements – Landscape by Esperit, the Wardians Terrarium by Victoria, Variatec Agri BV / Bloomstay's Tulipa Columbus, Kwekerij J. de Groot BV with their Coffea Arabica in a coffee bean cement pot, and Arddeco's Salt Chrysal. Individuals can cast their vote for a favorite concept, with instructions provided in Dutch.
For Garden plants, entries include Delphinium Red Lark by Colour Your Season, Hydrangea paniculata Groundbreaker Blush by Plantipp Limited / Schoenmaker, Pennisetum advena Tiny Tails by Plantipp BV / Hoogeveen Plants & FN Kempen, Skimmia japonica Cleopatra by Van Vliet New Plants BV / Snepvangers Tuinplanten BV, and Hydrangea serrata "Magic Pillow" by Plant Select NV. Voting for garden plants is also available and instructions are in Dutch.
In the category of Cut flowers, finalists feature LI LA TWINNY PEACH by Qualily, Campanula Kilimanjaro by Kwekerij Stadsland, TULIPA AD REM PARROT by Fa. P. Spruit & Zn, Fabienne Purple Chrysanthemum by Zentoo, and Clematis Amazing Tokyo by Marginpar. There is an opportunity to vote for a favorite cut flower, with guidance provided in Dutch.
For Green indoor plants, the candidates are Labisia Kura Kura by J&P ten Have, Crown Jewel Gloriosa's Zamioculcas Chameleon, Aglaonema Chantal by Kwekerij Barreveld, Epipremnum Manjula moss stick by Kwekerij Zeurniet, and Alocasia Antoro Velvet by Esperit Plants. Voters can select their favorite green indoor plant, following Dutch instructions.
Finally, the Flowering indoor plants category includes Pineapple Mi Amigo by Plantcompany, Cyclamen Illusia by Schoneveld Breeding, Phalaenopsis Optistar Lipa by Opti-flor, and Freedanzo Dove by Mare-Hendriks BV / Opti-Flor. Voting for the favorite flowering indoor plant is also open, with the process detailed in Dutch.
