Put a whole lot of growers, suppliers, and visitors from the Netherlands and abroad together in a large greenhouse, and you have the perfect recipe for a successful trade show. Over the past few days, Plantarium|Groen-Direkt in the Netherlands was buzzing with activity, where growers showcased their regular assortment as well as new introductions. Our Dutch publication BPnieuws was also present for the first time with a booth to hand out its guides.

After a somewhat challenging summer for some growers, trade now seems to be picking up again. While Wednesday appeared to be the busiest day, most exhibitors were very satisfied with the conversations, the business done, and the overall turnout on both days. This was clearly reflected in the sales of sample lots, which saw plenty of trading and purchasing activity.
