What was once a greenhouse for horticulture has now found a second life as a caravan storage facility in Oosterblokker, The Netherlands. The site even boasts a brand-new roof topped with solar panels. Two new storage halls have been built, each fitted with the new roofing system. Thanks to support from the SDE++ subsidy scheme, the site is now generating green energy.
By leasing out its roof space, the caravan storage facility produces 2,000 megawatt hours of electricity. ProfiNRG has shared a video showcasing the project.
