Kenya: "Visitors are invited to explore the wide assortment of roses"

The Naivasha Horticultural Fair is one of Kenya's biggest outdoor agricultural events, and over the years it has grown into a vital meeting point for the floriculture sector. The fair brings together growers, breeders, suppliers, and stakeholders from across the region and beyond.

This year, United Selections is not only present at the Naivasha show, but also opening the doors for the 2nd time of its own Naivasha showhouse. Visitors are invited to explore the wide assortment of roses, ranging from established commercial successes to promising new trial varieties. In addition, the showhouse will feature inspiring displays from Konst Alstroemeria and Icon Chrysanthemums, offering guests a diverse and colourful experience.

Variety highlight: Hot Wave
Among the highlights is Hot Wave, a recently released rose that is quickly establishing itself in the market. With its fiery colour, strong productivity, and reliable performance under Kenyan conditions, Hot Wave has become a favourite for both growers and designers. The variety has already featured as a centrepiece in Alina Neacsa's floral creations at the Grand Ball, and in her international masterclasses, confirming its commercial strength and design versatility.

Variety highlight: Misty Charm
Also showcased is Misty Charm , a spray rose from the popular Blossoms series. With its soft, misty tones and elegant cluster form, it has captured the attention of florists for weddings, events, and everyday arrangements. For growers, Misty Charm offers solid production, strong stems, and reliability. The variety was recently featured in a creative video collaboration with Alina Neacsa, which can be viewed here.
