That Flower Feeling is bringing its "Just Add Flowers" campaign to Anaheim with a floral giveaway scheduled for Sunday, October 19. The activation will run from 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at a venue in the Anaheim area, with the exact location to be announced. The event is designed to engage the community directly following the IFPA Conference.
Volunteers are being sought to support the initiative. Responsibilities include engaging with attendees, helping manage lines, assisting with bouquet creation, and contributing to the logistics of setting up the site and moving floral products. These roles are central to ensuring the event runs smoothly and that participants have the opportunity to interact with flowers in a hands-on way.
The campaign emphasizes in-person connection, aiming to provide an experience that extends beyond digital and audio outreach. By facilitating face-to-face interactions, the organization hopes to give people the opportunity to enjoy flowers firsthand and to create a lasting impression through grassroots engagement.
Two volunteer shifts are available. The early shift begins at 7:30 a.m. and involves meeting at the IFPA Conference location to pick up flowers and transport them to the activation site. The second shift runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and focuses on event hosting duties such as crowd management, bouquet assistance, and maintaining an organized flow at the venue.
Volunteers will receive a brief orientation, necessary supplies, social media recognition, and first choice of flowers after the event.
