From October 6 to 9, 2025, the foyer in Straelen-Herongen will be transformed into a vibrant showcase of African flowers. Each day from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Thursday until 12:00 p.m.), visitors can discover a colorful presentation featuring the latest assortment from African rose and summer-flower growers, all connected to Royal FloraHolland and Landgard, the two parent organizations of Veiling Rhein-Maas.
All the products on display will be available through Veiling Rhein-Maas sales channels as well as via Floriday.
During African Week, you can look forward to an impressive presentation of high-quality cut flowers from Africa, a wide range that highlights both diversity and freshness. At the Info-Points, specialists will be ready to answer questions about imports, assortment, clock services, customer relations, and Floriday. You'll also gain insight into how the import and processing of African cut flowers actually works, and what "direct from the grower" really means for you. In addition, a colleague from Royal FloraHolland's Local Office in Kenya will give engaging presentations on the local perspective.
