The exit scheme is designed for growers who intend to cease trading and therefore wish to exempt themselves from the requirement for certification. Through this scheme, growers can arrange their deregistration from Royal FloraHolland ahead of time. Both members and suppliers are eligible to use the exit scheme.
The scheme applies to members and suppliers who plan to stop trading within two years of their applicable certification date. Member suppliers in the Direct Focus, Direct Flex, and Auction Flex packages, as well as non-member growers required to be certified by 1 January 2026, can obtain a personal temporary dispensation until 1 January 2028. After this date, they must cease their supply activities with Royal FloraHolland and may not supply or trade through another member or administration number. Auction Focus growers required to be certified by 1 July 2027 can obtain a personal temporary dispensation until 1 July 2029, with the same obligation to cease supplying through Royal FloraHolland or via another member or administration number.
If a member or supplier continues to supply through Royal FloraHolland after the dispensation period ends, the dispensation will be revoked, and the levy will be collected retrospectively in cases of missing or incomplete certification.
To use the exit scheme, participants must complete and sign the declaration provided through the designated link. The statement is sent to both the applicant and Royal FloraHolland, after which Royal FloraHolland ensures deregistration as of the specified date.
