Why Sunselle?
The global market demands scale, data-driven insights, and a reliable supply. Sunselle provides a platform that brings together sales, marketing, logistics, data, and supply chain management under one roof. Customers benefit from a broad and complete assortment, year-round dependable deliveries, and the combined strength of two leading rose growers. Thanks to the complementary growing seasons in Kenya and Ethiopia, supply can be guaranteed without interruption.
Stronger together
Arie van den Berg, owner of Berg Roses, explains: "With Sunselle, we are taking a major step forward. By combining our production in the Netherlands, Kenya, and Ethiopia, we can guarantee customers the very best quality and consistency all year round. This gives us real strength for the future."
Paul Holla, co-owner of Holla Roses, adds: "The market is asking for transparency, data, and certainty. Sunselle makes things straightforward for our customers: one point of contact, one platform, and the assurance that we have everything in place to grow together. Commitment and reliability are the real foundations of this partnership."
Capacity and ambition
With 125 hectares under cultivation and an annual output of more than 375 million stems, Sunselle has the scale to act as a global partner. The ambition is clear: to become the strongest cut flower platform in the world, produced sustainably and transparently, and built on long-term partnerships. Sunselle also welcomes collaborations with other growers who may wish to join the platform.
Sunselle organization
Sunselle will be led by Arie van den Berg, Paul Holla, and Christian Teerds. Christian has been appointed as CEO and will take charge of daily operations. The existing sales teams of both companies will form the backbone of the new organization.
