Royal FloraHolland and jem-id renew partnership

Royal FloraHolland and jem-id renewed their strategic partnership on Tuesday, 23 September. This renewal ensures that both organizations will continue to collaborate intensively over the coming years to further develop Floriday: the digital platform that enables growers and buyers to expand their business and trade more efficiently.

Since the launch of Floriday in 2017, Royal FloraHolland and jem-id have worked together to advance the floriculture industry in the online space. Renewing this partnership underlines their shared goal: to further consolidate Floriday's position as the digital hub for the international horticulture business.

"With jem-id as a long-term development partner for Floriday, Royal FloraHolland will continue to build a strong, innovative digital platform over the coming years. I am proud of the online progress we have made at RFH in partnership with jem-id, to help guarantee a sustainable future for the sector," said David van Mechelen, acting CEO of Royal FloraHolland.

"Together we have created a platform that has become indispensable to the horticulture business. This gives us confidence in the next phase of growth and innovation," added André van der Linden, CIO of Royal FloraHolland.

Martijn van Andel, director of jem-id, stated: "Our DNA is a perfect match for Floriday's ambition. Together with Royal FloraHolland, we are creating a digital platform that allows growers and buyers to run their businesses faster and more efficiently. In doing so, we are not only strengthening the sector but also maintaining the Netherlands' leading position in the global floriculture market."
