After more than a decade of California Spring Trials (CAST) experiences at its Watsonville facility, Benary has announced a new location for CAST 2026 and beyond, Por La Mar Nursery, located at 905 S. Patterson Ave., Santa Barbara, CA 93111.
Since 2013, Benary has taken part in CAST events. From New York-style fashion shows and virtual reality helicopter rides (followed by the real thing), to curated museum exhibits like "The Art of Benary," bicycle rides, putting contests and even signature cocktails like "BIG® Begonia Beer."

With the closure of the Watsonville breeding facility, Benary is turning the page and partnering with Por La Mar Nursery, a premier grower known for its innovation, quality, and stunning coastal setting. This new collaboration promises to carry forward Benary's tradition of bold, engaging presentations—now with a fresh Santa Barbara twist.
