To boost agricultural output and assist growers across the province, the Tokat Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry keeps up its efforts. In this regard, the district's cut flower producers were inspected by technical personnel from the Erbaa District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
Officials visited with the growers during the visit and discussed topics such as market conditions, production costs, disease and pest control, and cultivation techniques. These gatherings are essential for creating practical answers to farmers' problems and bolstering the industry even more.
One of Tokat's top districts for the production of cut flowers is Erbaa. A total of 58 hectares—53 hectares of greenhouses and 5 hectares of open field production—are used to grow cut flowers. These flowers are sold in 18 Turkish flower auction houses located in various cities, boosting local economies.
