Plantipp celebrates double gold at GrootGroenPlus 2025

At the 35th edition of GrootGroenPlus, Plantipp secured two gold medals in the Green Grand Prix competition. In addition, three Plantipp introductions earned Bronze medals.

Osmanthus heterophyllus 'PNOS01' (Perfume Party), bred by Satoki Matsui and sent in by Boomkwekerij B. van Roesse, is celebrated for its refined fragrance and ornamental value. Phillyrea angustifolia 'Grand Prix', bred and sent in by Huijbregts Boomkwekerij BV, is honoured for its elegant form and strong performance. Bringing a Mediterranean touch with its glossy dark foliage and naturally dense, upright habit. Highly resilient to salt, heat, drought, and pollution, this adaptable evergreen thrives in hedges or landscapes, formal or natural.

Bronze medals
Miscanthus 'Lady in Red', sent in by Hoogenraad Handelskwekerijen BV, is a striking ornamental grass with purple-green spring foliage that turns vivid red in autumn, topped with elegant silvery plumes.
