Walt Disney World has announced the return of Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses during the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. This seasonal experience will once again allow guests to step behind the scenes of EPCOT's Living with the Land and explore its greenhouses in full holiday bloom.
Living with the Land has long been known for its vast displays of innovative horticulture, where plants and crops flourish through sustainable growing methods. During the holidays, these greenhouses take on a new radiance. Glimmering Greenhouses transforms the familiar rows of vegetables, fruit trees, and blossoms into a festive wonderland, aglow with thousands of twinkling lights and seasonal arrangements. The result is an atmosphere where the beauty of nature intertwines with the sparkle of the holidays.

The special after-dark version of the Behind the Seeds tour offers a one-hour walking journey through the Land Pavilion's greenhouses. Guests will learn about the plants that bring flavors and fragrance to holiday traditions, while strolling among hydroponic gardens bathed in soft, colorful light. Decorative touches and carefully placed displays accent the crops, giving the impression of a nighttime garden brought to life for the season.
For the 2025 Festival of the Holidays, Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses will be offered three times each evening—6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and a newly added 8:00 p.m. departure. The tour will run nightly from November 28 through December 30, 2025. Reservations open on October 9, 2025, with demand expected to be strong given the popularity of last year's offering. In 2024, tours quickly reached capacity, and evening rides on Living with the Land saw some of the longest waits in the attraction's history.
The cost for the 2024 season was $45 per person, plus tax. Pricing for 2025 has not yet been finalized, though it is anticipated to adjust slightly for the expanded schedule. As with all Enchanting Extras, valid EPCOT admission is required, and guests are encouraged to book in advance online or through the My Disney Experience app.
Behind the Seeds remains one of EPCOT's signature tours during the day, guiding visitors through fish farms and four greenhouses filled with unusual crops, oversized produce, and research in sustainable agriculture. The holiday edition builds upon this foundation, overlaying the science of cultivation with the artistry of seasonal design. Guests will experience firsthand how flowers, foliage, and food crops alike can be transformed into part of a living holiday display.
The tour requires an hour on foot, and comfortable shoes are recommended. Participants must be at least three years old, with guests under 18 accompanied by an adult. Check-in is located at the lower level of The Land Pavilion near the Living with the Land exit, and guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to tour time.
With its glowing arrangements, illuminated leaves, and holiday harvests, Behind the Seeds: Glimmering Greenhouses offers an intimate view of EPCOT's gardens at their most festive. Returning guests and first-time visitors alike will find the tour a celebration of nature's beauty, brought into full bloom for the season.
