Family Flowers, a fourth-generation floral company dedicated to preserving beloved local flower shops, has welcomed Chicagoland institution Phillip's Flowers & Gifts into its growing family of florists.
Founded in 1923, Phillip's Flowers operates 6 flower shops in Elmhurst, Hinsdale, La Grange Park, Naperville, Westmont, and Wheaton, and a 30,000 square foot design center, providing service throughout Chicago and its suburbs. Phillip's Flowers is an award-winning florist with approximately 150 passionate team members known for providing outstanding customer service and exceptional floral designs while maintaining their deep-rooted connections in the communities they serve.
Phillip's Flowers will continue operating under the Phillip's name with its long-term staff. Derek Phillip, third-generation florist, will remain on board as Regional Manager, ensuring the continuation of the heritage, artistry, and personal touch that have made Phillip's a customer favorite for more than 100 years. Family Flowers has purchased both the retail and wholesale floral divisions of Phillip's Flowers. The Phillip family will continue to own and operate Phillip's Interior Plants & Displays, which specializes in commercial indoor plantscaping, green walls, moss walls, and holiday decorations for Chicago area businesses.
