Lazzeri has unveiled its new Poinsettia Collection 2026, a catalogue that reflects the company's passion, innovation, and long-term vision for poinsettia breeding.
"This year, we're proud to introduce our new flagship variety, Superba Galaxy, featured on the cover of the catalogue," says the Lazzeri team. "We're also looking forward to welcoming visitors to our Open Day on November 28, 2025, in Sabaudia, Italy."

According to Lazzeri, Superba Galaxy represents the next step in the evolution of the renowned Superba line. "There's a moment when beauty exceeds all expectations — that's where Superba Galaxy begins," the team shares.
The new poinsettia combines elegant yet bold growth, transforming spaces with its uniformity and visual appeal. It inherits the strength, reliability, and quality of the Superba family, while adding what the breeders describe as "a radiant character that draws the eye and touches the heart."

Lazzeri's breeding program continues to focus on high-performing genetics developed to meet the needs of both growers and end consumers. The 2026 catalogue includes 27 varieties, all selected through careful evaluation and targeted development.
"Our aim is twofold," explains the Lazzeri team. "We want to improve what already works while introducing new solutions that respond to a changing market." Recent introductions such as Carmen Red—now considered a reference point in Lazzeri's poinsettia genetics—and Papagena, known for its striking white-pink blend and medium-large bracts, have already gained strong market acceptance.
