IFPA Global Produce Show 2025 brings color and collaboration to Anaheim

This past weekend, the IFPA Global Produce Show took place in Anaheim, California. Growers, importers, and suppliers from around the world came together to explore the latest developments in the fresh produce and floriculture sectors. Our reporters were also on the floor, capturing trends, the atmosphere, and the participating companies.

With the show now over, we're left with plenty of photos from a successful edition. On the exhibition floor, companies showcased their products to American retailers, while behind the scenes there were extensive discussions about expansion, collaboration, and market opportunities.

Market stable despite uncertainty
Despite a still uncertain market—partly due to import tariffs and logistical challenges—the sector seems to be holding up well. Larger companies benefit from economies of scale, while smaller players face challenges due to high costs. The market is described as stable: flower prices are slightly higher than last year, with a modest profit increase of 10–30 percent.

Early November, the U.S. government will review tariffs again—a key moment for exporters, as direct deliveries from Europe are currently subject to around 50% duty.

A colorful exhibition floor
The show floor was vibrant and full of color. Flowers in a rainbow of shades caught the eye, with many garden roses and dyed varieties on display. New products for the U.S. market were also introduced. Tulips and colorful bouquets highlighted how vibrant colors are regaining ground alongside the neutral tones that dominated recent years.
