Costa Farms is continuing to spread its reach in indoor plant culture with a series of activations in New York City this season, part of a broader push to build stronger connections with today's plant-loving consumers.
"Costa Farms isn't just a grower, we're a brand," said Mari Carrasquillo, VP of Marketing at Costa Farms. "We're meeting consumers where they are, from social to retail to real-life experiences. Being in New York gives us a platform to inspire, educate, and innovate in a way that only Costa Farms can."
The first stop was PlantCon NYC, a two-day event held August 30–31 at Pier 17, where Costa Farms teamed up with Plant Choir to help visitors literally tune in to the frequencies of plants. With a lush, education-driven booth, Costa Farms hosted Q&As with its in-house experts, dished out plant facts, and engaged thousands of plant lovers with exclusive giveaways and sneak peeks of trending varieties.

"Costa Farms is leading the way in bridging the gap between hobbyists and industry by showing up in the spaces that plant people love." said Kenny Kong, President and Founder of PlantCon. "They're making plant hobbyists feel seen, valued, and engaged in a way that other growers and large brands have failed to do. Their ability to connect makes Costa's booth stand out at every event they attend, not just PlantCon!"
Costa Farms next hosted an exclusive media event in Manhattan, designed to showcase plant styling inspiration and product innovation. The event brought together editors, influencers, and stylists for a meet-and-greet with plant stylist and author Hilton Carter and Costa Farms' horticulturist Justin Hancock.
Guests were invited to explore a "Nature nook", learn about the trend of collecting, and see for themselves the emotional and aesthetic benefits of living with plants. Attendees received grow tips, content inspiration, and a first look at Costa Farms' 2026 collection.

"We want plants in every corner of every home," said Hilton Carter, plant stylist, author, and creator. "Costa Farms gives people more than just plants; they offer the tools and the vision to create something meaningful in their own homes."
