Atrium Agri and VEK Adviesgroep have, in mutual agreement, decided to end their collaboration. As of the end of this week, ownership of VEK Adviesgroep will be fully in the hands of Pascal van Oers and Willem Nat. "This marks a new phase in which VEK can continue its course as an independent consultancy completely autonomously", the companies share.
VEK Adviesgroep, founded in 1971, has been part of Atrium Agri since 2020, an integrated group of companies within the greenhouse horticulture sector. "The decision to end the collaboration stems from a shared understanding that independence better suits the nature and position of VEK."
"With pride, I look forward to the next step for Willem and Pascal," says Marck Hagen, CEO of Atrium Agri. "By continuing independently, VEK will have more opportunities in the market to provide unbiased advice than as part of Atrium Agri. We will miss their presence within the group, but I am convinced this is the best step for VEK. Moreover, I have every confidence that we will continue to collaborate on projects for joint clients in the greenhouse horticulture sector, ensuring that we do not lose sight of each other."
Willem Nat, co-owner of VEK Adviesgroep, also looks positively at this next phase: "Over the past years, we have worked together within Atrium Agri with pleasure and appreciation. The step to operate fully independently again gives us the opportunity to respond even more directly to the advisory needs of our clients. We continue to see Atrium Agri as a valuable partner in the sector and look forward to new collaborations in the future."
