Royal FloraHolland to discontinue Fc510 flower box

As of Friday, 2 January 2026, Royal FloraHolland will permanently discontinue the reusable flower box Fc510. As the company shared last May, the main reason is the high cost, which is partly due to its short seasonal use. There will be several other packaging options available that customers can use instead.

In consultation with the FPC Amaryllis and various users, Royal FloraHolland has decided to discontinue the Fc510 after the 2025/2026 season. This timing gives growers and buyers room to make a smooth transition to the available alternatives.

Friday, 2 January 2026 will be the final day the Fc510 is issued. Friday, 3 April 2026 will be the last day to return the Fc510 to one of Royal FloraHolland's packaging depots under normal conditions. Starting Saturday, 4 April 2026, the company will no longer accept the Fc510.
