The Bransford Webbs Plant Company has announced that three new apprentices have recently started their placements with the nursery. These apprentices are part of a two-year scheme in conjunction with Pershore College, which leads to a Level 3 Crop Technician Qualification.
Over the next two years, Lola Dolphin, Danny Holloway, and Esme Goldenberg will work in all departments of the nursery and will also spend five weeks each year at Pershore College, where they will study a wide range of horticultural modules.

The Bransford Webbs apprenticeship scheme attracts a diverse range of applicants. This year, Lola and Danny have completed their GCSEs and A-levels, respectively, earlier this year, while Esme is embarking on a career change.
"It's great to have these three excellent apprentices join the team," commented Karl O'Neill, Technical Production Director. "We see apprentices as the lifeblood of the business and are excited for what the future holds for them."

Most recently, two Bransford Weebs apprentices, Sam Oleksy and Emmeline Yourston, completed their Level 3 Crop Technician Qualification, both passing with Distinction. Sam is currently one of our glasshouse growers, and Emmeline oversees an area of the young plant unit.
