CEAg World has announced the winners of the inaugural CEAg World Impact Awards. The program recognizes individuals driving real progress in Advancing Food Under Cover.

Launched on July 7, 2025, these annual awards celebrate CEA trailblazers who are moving the future of protected agriculture forward. This year's honorees include Visionary Grower Award winner Bill Ferguson of Riley Creek Farms, Innovator Award winner Sam Bertram of OnePointOne, Emerging Leader Award winner Gretchen Schimelpfenig of GLASE, and Educator and Researcher Award winner Chieri Kubota of The Ohio State University.
The CEAg World Impact Award winners were announced on Nov. 20 during the opening ceremony of the CEAg World Conference and Expo, held Nov. 19-21 in Durham, N.C.
To learn more about the winners and their accomplishments, CEAg World will release a series of in-depth video interviews in December as part of CEAg Talks, a curated video series highlighting industry innovators, their impact stories, and insights from across the controlled environment agriculture community.
