Major fraud case in Kenya's floriculture sector

A Nairobi court has ordered a Sh110 million (around €740,000) fraud case against two former directors of Heritage Flowers Ltd (and two other individuals) to proceed to full hearing. The court hereby rejects an application to transfer the matter to the Commercial Division, Kenya Insights shares. The people accused face nine counts, including conspiracy to defraud, stealing by servants, money laundering, and multiple forgery charges.

The former directors of Heritage Flowers are also involved in two other companies: Meridian Flowers Limited and Rosalia Blooms Limited.

The hearing will proceed on February 12, 2026.
